Pocoyo is a fun-loving little boy who loves to explore the world around him. In season 1 episode 17, "Not in my Backyard," Pocoyo and his friends are having a great time playing outside when they suddenly find themselves in the middle of an argument. A tiny bird has built a nest in their play area, and the friends can't decide what to do about it.

Pocoyo is convinced that they should leave the bird alone and let it live in peace. But his friends aren't so sure. Elly, the elephant, thinks that the bird needs to move its nest somewhere else, while Pato the duck believes that they should take the nest apart and move it themselves.

As the argument heats up, Pocoyo realizes that they need to come up with a solution that everyone can agree on. He suggests that they build the bird a new nest in a different part of the yard, far away from where they play. Everyone agrees, and they set to work building the new nest.

With the help of some sticks and leaves, the friends create a cozy new home for the bird. They carefully move the eggs from the old nest to the new one, and they all watch as the mother bird returns to her eggs, happy and safe in her new home.

As they watch the mother bird tend to her eggs, Pocoyo's friends realize that they were wrong to argue about what to do. They realize that sometimes, it's better to work together and find a solution that everyone can agree on.

Pocoyo and his friends spend the rest of the day playing outdoors, happy in the knowledge that they have done the right thing. As they run, jump, and play, they know that they have made a new friend in the mother bird, and that they will always do their best to take care of the animals that share their backyard.
