Ep 1. Moonfizzle Balls / Soccer Ninjalinos

In season 2 episode 1 of PJ Masks, titled "Moonfizzle Balls / Soccer Ninjalinos," the viewers are once again transported to the exciting world of the three young superheroes - Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko. In the first segment "Moonfizzle Balls," the team is faced with a new villain - Luna Girl - who is on a mission to take over the world by creating a fake moon with the help of her trusty Moonfizzle Balls. The PJ Masks must stop her before her plan succeeds, and they must also deal with the fact that the moon has suddenly disappeared from the night sky.

As the trio try to figure out what happened, Luna Girl makes her appearance, explaining that she has taken the moon and that she will only give it back if they agree to not stop her from carrying out her evil plan. Despite the challenge, the PJ Masks are determined to protect their city and stop Luna Girl. Catboy takes the lead and tries to use his speed to grab the Moonfizzle Balls, but Luna Girl's moths quickly come to her aid, making it nearly impossible for him to succeed.

Owlette steps in to help, using her owl wing wind power to knock the moths away and distract Luna Girl. Meanwhile, Gekko finds a way to get close enough to the moon and remove the Moonfizzle Balls, causing Luna Girl's plan to fail. Satisfied that they have saved their city from destruction, the PJ Masks return the moon to its rightful place in the sky.

In the second segment, "Soccer Ninjalinos," the PJ Masks are excited to join their friend, Newton Star, and other kids from the neighborhood in a friendly soccer game. However, they soon find out that the Ninjalinos - Night Ninja's loyal minions - and their master have also arrived with the intention of ruining the game.

The Ninjalinos create chaos on the field, making it nearly impossible for the PJ Masks to score a goal. Newton Star, who was supposed to be their star player, is out of commission due to a sprained ankle. The team is demoralized, but they soon realize that they cannot let their friends down and that they must work together to overcome the obstacles in their way.

Gekko comes up with a plan, using his abilities to create a decoy ball to fool the Ninjalinos while Catboy takes the real ball to the goal. The plan works, and the PJ Masks soon score a goal, thrilling the spectators. However, Night Ninja is not one to give up easily, and he sends his Ninjalinos to retrieve the ball. The PJ Masks use their teamwork and unique powers to overcome the minions, recover the ball, and win the game.

As the episode comes to a close, the PJ Masks are reminded of the importance of teamwork and that they can accomplish anything when they work together. The viewers are left with a sense of excitement and adventure, eagerly anticipating what other challenges the PJ Masks will face in their mission to keep the city safe from harm.
