Pinky & the Brain is an Emmy award winning American animated television series created by Tom Ruegger. The series was produced by Steven Spielberg and aired on the Warner Bros. network. Each episode follows the hijinks of two genetically enhanced lab mice, Pinky and Brain, who attempt to take over the world.
In season 1 episode 11, entitled "Fly," Pinky and Brain embark on a mission to infiltrate a secret military base in order to steal a top-secret weapon. The weapon, a high-tech fly, has the ability to fly undetected and can be used for surveillance and reconnaissance purposes.
The episode begins with Pinky and Brain watching a news report about the weapon and its capabilities. Brain becomes fixated on it and immediately hatches a plan to steal it. Pinky, as usual, is skeptical but goes along with Brain's plan.
The duo sneak into the base by disguising themselves as janitors. Once inside, they encounter a series of obstacles, including a group of lab rats who have also been genetically enhanced and are guarding the weapon. Pinky and Brain are able to outsmart the rats and make their way to the weapon.
As they attempt to steal the weapon, they accidentally activate it, causing it to fly uncontrollably around the base. The fly causes chaos and destruction as it crashes into walls and breaks through windows.
Meanwhile, the base's security team is in pursuit of Pinky and Brain. The two mice use their intelligence and agility to evade capture and continue their mission. Eventually, they are able to regain control of the fly and safely make their way out of the base undetected.
Upon returning to their lab, Pinky and Brain realize that the fly is malfunctioning and is no longer useful for their world domination plans. However, they end the episode with a renewed sense of determination and continue to plot their next scheme.
Overall, "Fly" is a fast-paced and entertaining episode that showcases Pinky and Brain's wit and resourcefulness, as well as their strong desire for world domination. With its clever writing and well-executed animation, the episode is sure to delight fans of the series and those new to the show.
