The episode begins with Pinkfong and his friends singing the alphabet song on the ship's deck. As they are singing, they spot a pod of dolphins jumping in and out of the water. The dolphins are so playful and energetic that Pinkfong and his friends decide to join in on the fun. They jump into the water and swim with the dolphins, giggling and splashing around.
After their swim with the dolphins, they spot a big, blue whale in the distance. Pinkfong and his friends are amazed by the size of the whale, and they decide to follow it to see where it's going. They hop back onto the ship and sail after the whale.
As they get closer to the whale, Pinkfong and his friends start to notice that the whale is communicating with them. It's making all sorts of interesting sounds, and Pinkfong realizes that the whale is trying to teach them new words. He and his friends start mimicking the whale's sounds and learning new vocabulary.
They continue to follow the whale, and eventually, they come across a beautiful coral reef. The reef is filled with all sorts of colorful fish and other sea creatures. Pinkfong and his friends decide to stop the ship and dive into the water to explore the reef.
While swimming around the reef, Pinkfong and his friends discover a hidden treasure chest. They're so excited to have found treasure that they start dancing and singing a special treasure song. As they're dancing, they hear a loud rumbling noise coming from the ship.
They swim back to the ship to see what's going on, and they discover that a giant octopus has attached itself to the ship's mast. The octopus is so big and strong that it's pulling the ship off course. Pinkfong and his friends know they need to act fast to save the ship.
They start singing a special song to try and calm the octopus down. The song works, and the octopus lets go of the ship. The ship is safe, and Pinkfong and his friends continue on their ship trip.
As they sail home, Pinkfong and his friends sing some of the new words they learned from the whale. They're excited to practice their new vocabulary and share it with their friends back on land.
