Phineas and Ferb is an animated series that revolves around the titular step-brothers who spend their summer holidays coming up with inventive and ambitious projects. In season 2 episode 3 titled "Attack of the 50 Foot Sister / Backyard Aquarium," the two boys get up to their usual shenanigans while their older sister Candace attempts to outsmart them and finally catch them in the act.
In the first half of the episode, "Attack of the 50 Foot Sister," Candace is bitten by a mosquito that has been exposed to one of Phineas and Ferb's growth serums. She starts to grow uncontrollably, becoming a giantess and causing chaos throughout the city. Meanwhile, the boys attempt to harness Candace's newfound size to complete their latest project - constructing the ultimate treehouse - before she continues to wreak havoc.
As Candace struggles with her new size, she ultimately realizes that she doesn't want to cause destruction or hurt anyone. Through teamwork and problem-solving, Phineas, Ferb, and Candace are able to reverse the effects of the growth serum, and all ends well.
In the second half of the episode, "Backyard Aquarium," the boys decide to construct an underwater world in their backyard, complete with a submarine and various sea creatures. Meanwhile, Candace tries to earn her gardening patch for the Fireside Girls by growing a rare and exotic plant.
As always, their pet platypus, Perry, is simultaneously going on a secret mission to stop an evil scientist from his plan to destroy the city with a giant robotic fish. The boys create a floating aquarium that becomes a key piece in Perry's mission to stop the evil scientist in his tracks.
Like all episodes of Phineas and Ferb, "Attack of the 50 Foot Sister / Backyard Aquarium" is full of hilarious hijinks and inventive, imaginative projects. The episode showcases the characters' unique personalities and strengths, as well as their ability to come together to solve problems and create amazing things. Overall, it's a fun and entertaining episode that's sure to delight viewers of all ages.
