In the end, Phineas and Ferb's plan to return bigfoot to the forest seems to fail as the creature reappears at their house, much to Candace's frustration. However, a twist in the tale reveals that the giant robot's destination was actually the boys' backyard all along, and the real bigfoot rejoices as he is finally reunited with his family in the forest.
