Ep 20. Shoplifter at the Shady Rest

When customers at the Shady Rest Hotel begin reporting missing items, suspicions arise that there is a shoplifter among them. Kate Bradley, the proprietor of the hotel, takes it upon herself to investigate the matter with the help of her three daughters: Billie Jo, Bobbie Jo, and Betty Jo.

After interviewing the guests and narrowing down the potential suspects, the Bradley sisters work together to catch the perpetrator in the act. However, their plan backfires and they wind up mistakenly accusing one of their most trustworthy guests.

Feeling guilty for wrongly accusing the guest, the sisters try to make amends by offering him a free stay at the hotel. Meanwhile, Kate and her girls finally figure out who the real shoplifter is and devise a clever scheme to catch them. With the help of Uncle Joe, the family sets a trap for the thief and successfully catches them red-handed.

In the end, the shoplifter is revealed to be someone unexpected and the guests at the Shady Rest can once again feel secure knowing that their belongings are safe. The Bradley family reflects on the experience and learns a valuable lesson about jumping to conclusions and treating everyone with kindness and respect.
