Ep 7. A Doctor in the House

Kate Bradley, the proprietor of the Shady Rest Hotel, faces a medical emergency when Uncle Joe suffers from a heart attack. With no doctor in Hooterville, she drives to Pixley to find one. Kate finds out that Dr. Jardine, the local physician in Pixley, is about to retire due to low business, but she manages to convince him to help her. After returning to Hooterville, Dr. Jardine begins treating Uncle Joe, hoping to save his life. Meanwhile, the Bradley sisters try to find enough money to pay the doctor's fee, but they have no luck. Dr. Jardine ends up waiving his fee after Uncle Joe wakes up and makes a full recovery.
