Ep 1. Liberty

In Person of Interest season 3 episode 1, titled "Liberty," the show picks up where it left off with the previous season finale. With the help of a fellow captive, he is eventually able to break free and make a run for it. However, as he and Reese reunite, they are confronted by a group of armed men who seem determined to kill them both.

As the episode comes to a close, it becomes clear that the Machine is back online, and that Reese and Finch will continue to fight to protect the people of New York from those who seek to do them harm.
