In Person of Interest season 2 episode 3, titled "Masquerade," the duo of Reese and Finch are tasked with protecting a wealthy CEO named Andrew Benton, played by guest star Malcolm Goodwin, who is under threat from a hacker group known as Vigilance.
As the group seeks to expose Benton's corporation for alleged corruption, Reese and Finch go undercover at a high-end costume party in order to keep an eye on the CEO and prevent any potential attacks or leaks from compromising his future.
However, their efforts are complicated by the arrival of several other guests at the party, including a mysterious woman played by guest star Nazneen Contractor, who seems to have a personal connection to Benton. Meanwhile, Reese's past as a CIA agent comes back to haunt him as he is confronted by an old colleague, played by guest star Michael Gaston, who wants him to return to the agency.
Amidst all this tension and intrigue, Reese and Finch must race against the clock to keep Benton safe and prevent Vigilance from carrying out their dangerous agenda.

As always, the show's standout performances from stars Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson are bolstered by a strong supporting cast, including the aforementioned guest stars as well as regulars Taraji P. Henson and Kevin Chapman.
