Ep 16. The Case of the Telltale Talk Show Host

The TV movie series finally runs out of steam and jumps the shark with this abysmal entry about the murder of a nasty radio station manager (played by Regis Philbin). All of the talk show hosts working at the station despised him but when the wrong one (the psychologist) gets charged with the crime, you know who appears for the defense. Editor's note: watch this one only if you have a strong stomach. It truly marks the end of the line for Perry and company even though Raymond Burr would appear in one final movie and the ensemble would carry on for several more after that.
