Description
A documentary travel show that follows renown tattoo artist Mark Walters as he examines the tattoo culture, techniques, and history of three very different societies. Walters travels to Borneo to visit the a headhunter tribe and learns about their vanishing customs. In Tokyo he looks into the infamous Yakuza and their full-body irezumi ink masterpieces. Over in Thailand he finds a Buddhist monk who carries on the ancient Sak Yant tattoo tradition. At each location he seeks out a master of the craft and attempts to earn the honor of receiving a tattoo by them.
