Perception is an American crime drama television series starring Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a neuropsychiatrist who assists the FBI in solving complex cases. He uses his knowledge of neuropsychology to help the woman remember more clearly.

Meanwhile, Pierce is dealing with his own personal issues. His relationship with his ex-wife Natalie is strained, and he is struggling to come to terms with his own mental health issues. Throughout the episode, Pierce has flashbacks to his own childhood, where we see that he also suffered from trauma and abuse.

As the investigation continues, Pierce and Moretti discover that the man who abducted Abby is still at large. They race against time to track him down before he can harm anyone else. Along the way, Pierce's personal struggles come to a head and he is forced to confront his own demons in order to help solve the case.

"Light" is a gripping and emotionally charged episode of Perception. It tackles issues such as trauma, memory, and mental health in a sensitive and thought-provoking way. Eric McCormack delivers a powerful performance as Dr. Pierce, and the supporting cast are equally strong.
