Peppa Pig season 6 episode 2 titled "Grandpa's Little Train/The Baby Piggy" follows Peppa and her friends on an adventure with Grandpa Pig's miniature locomotive.
In the first half of the episode, "Grandpa's Little Train," Peppa, George, and their friends are excited to ride on Grandpa Pig's newly built miniature train. Grandpa Pig gives the children a tour of his garden, then takes them on a fun ride around the track he has built. As the train goes past the pond, they see ducks and frog, and as it goes through a tunnel, they pretend they are blasting off into space.
After the ride, Grandpa Pig explains to the children how much work he put into building the train, and they are impressed. While he goes inside to fetch them some lemonade, the children decide to take a turn driving the train themselves. They have a bit of fun, but end up crashing the train and causing damage to the track. Grandpa Pig is understanding and helps them fix it, reminding them that it's important to be careful when playing with toys.
In the second half of the episode, "The Baby Piggy," Mama and Papa Pig take Peppa's baby cousin Alexander for a visit. Peppa is excited to meet the new addition to the family, but is a bit disappointed to learn that babies can't really play yet. She tries to teach him a game of peek-a-boo, but he doesn't seem to understand.
While Mama and Papa Pig are taking care of Alexander, Peppa and George practice their own "adult" skills, like cooking and cleaning. But no matter how much they try to avoid it, they keep ending up with baby-related tasks, like fetching diapers or holding Alexander during his nap. Peppa finds it frustrating that the adults keep treating Alexander like he's more important than her, but eventually realizes that he needs extra attention right now and that his needs are just as important as hers.
Overall, "Grandpa's Little Train/The Baby Piggy" offers a fun and relatable look at two different stages of childhood - the excitement of playing with new toys and the shift in family dynamics that comes with the arrival of a new baby. Through it all, Peppa and her friends learn important lessons about responsibility, patience, and understanding.
