Ep 8. Sports Day / The Eye Test

Peppa's father, Daddy Pig, ends up participating in this game, but his clumsiness causes him to drop his egg before finishing the race.

The final game of the competition is the relay race, in which each family has to participate and complete the race as fast as possible. Peppa's family is determined to win, and they work together in perfect coordination to complete the relay race, ultimately leading to their victory. The entire school cheers them on as they proudly accept their trophy. The episode ends with Peppa and her family excitedly discussing their victory and looking forward to the next year's sports day.

In the second half of the episode, "The Eye Test," Peppa goes to the optometrist's office for her yearly eye check-up. Along with her family, Peppa meets an eye doctor who asks her to read letters on a chart on the wall across from her. Even though Peppa cannot read any letters on the chart, she continues to guess what she thinks the letters are. The doctor shows her the chart with pictures instead of letters, which Peppa can successfully recognize. The doctor discovers that Peppa needs glasses, which is a little disappointing for her at first. However, Daddy Pig reassures her that glasses will make her see better, and she will love them once she gets used to them.

The episode ends with Peppa proudly wearing her new pink glasses and thanking her family for taking her for the eye test. She realizes how much better she can now see and is happy that she has glasses. This episode teaches children about the importance of sports and teamwork, as well as the importance of regular health check-ups.
