In the eighth episode of the second season, titled "Teller Plays With a Full Deck," we see a new set of magicians pouring in to try their luck at fooling the masterminds. One of the first acts that caught Penn & Teller's attention was a card trick performed by a young and charming magician named Ryan Joyce. It was a classic card trick with a twist, and Ryan's excellent showmanship and use of audience participation added a unique flavor to it.
The following act was an illusionist duo called The Shocker Boys, who performed a seemingly dangerous stunt involving electricity. Their act involved one member throwing their partner towards an electrified panel, and the other member catching them before they hit the ground. Penn & Teller were immensely impressed by the act but were not completely convinced that they had figured it out.
Next up was a mentalist named Angela Funovits, who performed a mind-boggling act involving numbers and predictions. She had the judges and the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end, as her act was mysterious and captivating.
The episode also featured a hilarious act by a comedic magician named Michael Kent, who managed to weave comedy seamlessly into the art of magic. He interacted with the judges and the audience, making them laugh while still managing to fool them with his tricks.
Towards the end of the episode, Teller took the stage to perform a trick of his own, much to the surprise and excitement of everyone present. Teller's act was a nod to his love for cards, and he demonstrated the art of card manipulation with stunning ease and finesse. His performance was awe-inspiring, and it left everyone in the audience and the judges completely spellbound.
