In the first part, "The Flat Woman Problem," Peg and Cat are inside a book when they encounter a Flat Woman. This Flat Woman claims that she is two-dimensional and cannot move from her spot, but she needs Peg and Cat to tell her story. Peg and Cat decide to take on the challenge and try to help the Flat Woman become more three-dimensional. They use different skills and techniques to try to accomplish this goal, but all attempts seem to fail. Eventually, they come up with an idea to put the Flat Woman in a flowerpot and take her outside, but it causes some issues. Will Peg and Cat be able to solve this problem and get the Flat Woman back in the book?
In the second part, "The Hanukkah Problem," Peg and Cat are excited to celebrate Hanukkah with their friends. However, when they arrive at their friend Leah's house, they realize that Leah's Hanukkah candles are missing. Leah is upset, and Peg and Cat decide to help her find the missing candles. They go on a hunt around the city, asking various people if they have seen the candles. As they search, they also learn more about the story of Hanukkah and the meaning behind the holiday. Will they be able to find the missing candles and make Leah's Hanukkah celebration complete?
