In the first episode of season 2 of Peg + Cat, titled "The Birthday Cake Problem/The Doohickey Problem," the dynamic duo faces two math-related dilemmas.
In "The Birthday Cake Problem," Peg and Cat are tasked with making a birthday cake for Peg's mom's birthday. They quickly realize they don't have enough flour to make the cake they planned, so they must use their math skills to figure out how much more flour they need to make the cake. Along the way, they encounter unexpected obstacles, such as a bee who has taken a liking to their sugar bowl.
Meanwhile, in "The Doohickey Problem," Peg and Cat must figure out how to help their friend Ramone fix a mysterious machine called a doohickey. Ramone has tried everything to fix it, but nothing works. With the help of some math, Peg and Cat learn about patterns and find a way to get the doohickey working again.
