The owl and pussycat have lost their invitation to a grand party on the other side of the island, and they need Peg and Cat's help to retrieve it.
Peg and Cat embark on a mission to find the invitation, using their problem-solving skills to overcome a series of obstacles along the way. They encounter a group of crabs who are in the midst of a beach party, as well as a treacherous cliff that they must climb in order to reach the island. Through it all, Peg and Cat remain determined and optimistic, using their ingenuity and creativity to solve the puzzles in front of them.
When they finally reach the party, they discover that the invitation was in the possession of a mischievous octopus who had been causing trouble all along. With their new friends by their side, Peg and Cat devise a plan to outsmart the octopus and retrieve the missing invitation. In the end, everyone is able to enjoy the party, thanks to Peg and Cat's determination and problem-solving skills.
