Peg + Cat: The Wonderland Problem / The Bat Mitzvah Problem
In this episode of Peg + Cat, the titular characters embark on two separate adventures that lead them through some unexpected twists and turns.
First up is "The Wonderland Problem," in which Peg and Cat take a trip down the rabbit hole (literally) after being inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic tale. Once they arrive in Wonderland, they quickly realize that things are not quite as they seem - the Cheshire Cat is missing, the Mad Hatter's hat is nowhere to be found, and worst of all, the Queen of Hearts has banned all forms of math! In order to set things right, Peg and Cat must use their problem-solving skills to track down the missing items and convince the Queen that math is, in fact, a necessary part of her kingdom.
In the second half of the episode, "The Bat Mitzvah Problem," Peg and Cat attend a friend's bat mitzvah and find themselves faced with a mystery that needs solving. It seems that all the presents that have been brought for the guest of honor have gone missing, and no one knows where they could have gone. As they search for clues, Peg and Cat encounter a range of characters including a magician, a caterer, and even a parrot, all of whom may have had a hand in the disappearance of the gifts. With each new lead, the duo uses logical reasoning to eliminate suspects and hone in on the culprit.
Throughout both adventures, Peg and Cat use math concepts like counting, measuring, and comparing to solve problems and overcome challenges. With catchy songs and colorful animation, this episode is sure to entertain and educate young viewers.
