Ep 1. Jeremy at JLB

Jeremy has started a new job at JLB Credit, where he is immediately taken with his boss, Nancy. Mark, unable to face taking a new job interview, decides to stay on in his current role at JLB and convinces himself that he is happy there. Meanwhile, Sophie is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and she and Mark are both struggling with anxiety about becoming parents. Jeremy tries to impress Nancy with his singing skills, but it doesn't have the desired effect. Mark's attempts to seem happy at work are undermined when he accidentally insults his boss while trying to agree with him. As the episode progresses, Mark and Jeremy both find themselves in increasingly absurd situations, and their attempts to navigate the complexities of their professional and personal lives only seem to make things worse. In the end, the two friends come to an understanding about each other's shortcomings, and Sophie finally gives birth.
