As the first big competition of the season approaches, Momo struggles to keep her head above water. Her ex-boyfriend, Kairi, joins her high school's swim team and is causing problems in her relationship with Toji. Meanwhile, Sae continues to scheme against Momo and is plotting ways to sabotage her during the competition.
The episode begins with Momo and Toji discussing the upcoming swim competition. Toji is excited to see Momo compete, but she is nervous about the event. She confides in him that she used to love swimming, but now all she can see is the face of the boy who caused her so much heartache - Kairi.
Speaking of Kairi, he joins the swim team at Momo's school and immediately starts making waves. His charm and good looks quickly catch the attention of the other girls on the team, including Sae. Sae sees an opportunity to create even more drama between Momo, Toji, and Kairi and begins to plot her next move.
As the swim competition starts, Momo struggles to stay focused as Kairi's presence on the team continues to distract her. She gets off to a slow start in her race but manages to catch up to the other swimmers quickly. However, right as she approaches the finish line, Sae pulls a dirty trick that threatens to ruin Momo's chances of winning.
Despite the setback, Momo manages to regain her composure and comes in second place. Kairi wins his race and the two of them celebrate together. Meanwhile, Sae continues to plot and scheme, determined to bring Momo down.
In the end, the swim competition may be over, but the drama at school is far from over. Momo and Toji's relationship is on shaky ground, and Sae is always lurking nearby, waiting for her next opportunity to strike. Will Momo be able to navigate these treacherous waters and come out on top, or will she succumb to the pressures of high school drama? Tune in to find out in the next episode of Peach Girl.
