Ep 1. Love Hurricane!

Peach Girl follows the story of teenage girl Momo Adachi, who is known for her tan skin and blonde hair. Episode 1, "Love Hurricane!", begins with Momo's best friend, Sae, asking her to go to a party with her. Momo agrees, hoping it will be a chance to see her crush, Kazuya "Toji" Tojigamori.

At the party, Momo sees Toji and they share a moment, but it is interrupted when they are both drenched by a sudden rainstorm. Seeking shelter, they end up in a supply closet together, where Toji admits his feelings for Momo and they share a kiss.

However, their moment is cut short when Sae interrupts them, wondering where Momo is. Sae is jealous of Momo and tries to sabotage her relationship with Toji by spreading rumors about Momo and her friend, Kairi. The rumors cause tension between Momo and Toji, leading Momo to question whether or not he really loves her.

Meanwhile, Kairi encourages Momo to stand up for herself and confront Sae about her lies. Momo takes Kairi's advice and confronts Sae in front of the entire school, exposing her lies and clearing her name. Toji sees Momo's bravery and admiration for her is rekindled.

The episode ends with Momo and Toji making up and agreeing to start dating, but with the knowledge that their relationship may not be easy due to the interference of others.
