Ep 4. Shadow

In the anime series, Peace Maker Kurogane season 1 episode 4, titled "Shadow," we see the continuation of the story of Tetsunosuke Ichimura, a young boy who seeks to avenge his parents' death and join the Shinsengumi, a special police force in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu period.

As they help Ito Ayumu evade her pursuers, Tetsunosuke learns a valuable lesson about the importance of trust and loyalty. He realizes that even though the world can be a dark and dangerous place, there are people who are willing to stand up for what is right and protect those in need.
Meanwhile, Kondo Isami, the commander of the Shinsengumi, is faced with a difficult decision. He must decide whether or not to execute a member of his own squad who has been found guilty of stealing from the people of Kyoto. As Kondo makes his decision, he is reminded of the harsh reality of the Shinsengumi's mission and the sacrifices that must be made for the greater good.
Overall, "Shadow" is a tense and action-packed episode that explores the complexities of the world of the Shinsengumi. Through Tetsunosuke's eyes, we see the dangers and hardships of the job, as well as the importance of trust and loyalty. As the story continues to unfold, it will be interesting to see how Tetsunosuke navigates this dangerous world and grows as a member of the Shinsengumi.
