PB&J Otter is an animated children's television show that follows the adventures of three Otter siblings: Peanut, Butter, and Jelly. The show is set in the fictional town of Lake Hoohaw and the siblings often encounter various challenges and obstacles that they must overcome with the help of their family and friends. Season 2 episode 1 is titled "Gotta Dance/Otter Pox" and follows the Otter family as they navigate through two different stories.

In the first story, "Gotta Dance," the siblings are excited to attend a dance party being hosted by their good friend, Ootsie Snootie. Upon arriving, they realize that they are the only ones dressed for a dance party and everyone else is dressed for a formal affair. Feeling embarrassed, Peanut, Butter, and Jelly decide to leave the party early. However, on their way home, they come across a group of frogs who are having a dance party of their own. The Otter siblings join in and have a blast dancing with the frogs. They even learn a new dance called the "Hop Hop Skip and a Jump." The episode ends with the siblings returning to Ootsie Snootie's party, this time confident and ready to dance their hearts out.

The second story, "Otter Pox," starts off with Peanut waking up with a rash all over his body. Mama Otter takes him to the doctor where they learn that he has come down with a case of Otter Pox - a common illness in Otter children. The doctor gives Mama Otter some medication and advice on how to take care of Peanut while he is sick. Peanut is feeling sad and lonely while he is stuck in bed, so his siblings try to cheer him up by bringing him games and books to read. One particular book, "George Lucas and the Quest for the Star Gem," catches his eye and he becomes excited about the story. With the help of his siblings, Peanut creates his own adventure involving George Lucas to pass the time while he is sick. The episode ends with Peanut feeling better and the siblings continuing their imaginary adventure.

Overall, "Gotta Dance/Otter Pox" is a fun and engaging episode that showcases the importance of friendship and creative imagination. The first story teaches children that it's okay to be different and to dance to the beat of your own drum. The second story highlights the importance of taking care of yourself when you're sick and finding ways to make the best of a bad situation. PB&J Otter is a great show for young children as it teaches valuable life lessons through entertaining and relatable stories.
