In Pawn Stars season 7 episode 6, titled "Man.Make.Fire", the usual cast of the Las Vegas pawnshop, the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, led by Rick Harrison, his father Richard "Old Man" Harrison, his son Corey, and Corey's childhood friend, Austin "Chumlee" Russell, received some interesting yet challenging items. As the usual norm with the reality TV series, customers bring in their items hoping to strike a deal with the pawnshop.
First on the show was a police officer who brought in a rare firefighter's badge from the 1900s. The badge is unique because it signifies a fireman's rank and designation and was made in sterling silver and 10k gold. Rick, alongside his pawn experts, examined the badge and tried to negotiate a deal with the officer. The badge was quite valuable, but Rick had his doubts as to whether he could find a buyer that would match the high asking price.
Next, a man came in carrying an antique kerosene-fueled tattoo machine that was invented in the late 1800s. The machine was quite rare as most tattoo machines had become electric by the 1900s. Although it was a unique item, Rick's expert quickly highlighted its condition as the machine did not work and was quite rusty. The owner requested quite a high valuation for the item, but after careful consideration, Rick had to turn down the offer due to its condition.
Later on the show, a customer came in with an early 1900s hand-cranked movie camera. The camera was quite unique as it was a very early version of the movie camera that used reels to record and playback. Rick and his team got onto the task of examining the camera, but they had a problem with its operationality. Despite their doubts, the team eventually found a buyer that was interested in purchasing the camera. However, the buyer's offer was quite low, and a battle of negotiations arose between the buyer and the pawnshop, with the customer eventually turning down the pawnshop's offer.
Another item that came in later on the show was a rare 1978 Dodge Warlock truck. The truck was one of the only 74 trucks ever made and came with unique features such as a wood bed and a sunroof. Although the vehicle was rare, it faced some issues, and the pawn team had problems deciding on what the item was worth, given that it could not work because of a faulty battery. Later on, after Rick had gotten the truck working again, the pawnshop team came up with a price, and they eventually settled for a deal.
Lastly, a man came into the Gold and Silver Pawnshop selling a rare 1920s cast-iron fire pit that had been said to have been created by the famous artist Thomas Moran. The piece was one of the most unique ones that the shop had received, and the team got onto the task of figuring out its value and authenticity. The fiery debates over whether Thomas Moran created the piece or not lasted for quite some time, but, in the end, a buyer was found, and the shop made a final deal.
In conclusion, Pawn Stars season 7 episode 6 was another exciting episode, with a range of unique and rare items coming into the Las Vegas pawnshop. From antique movie cameras to rare trucks and even fire pits by world-renowned artists, the show was as exciting as ever.
