In Pawn Stars season 10 episode 19, titled "Birthday Blues," the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop honor Chumlee's birthday with some surprise gifts and a party. However, the birthday festivities are interrupted when a customer brings in a rare, 18th-century book on the history of magic, which catches Rick's attention. The book contains detailed instructions on how to perform magic tricks, and Rick can't resist the opportunity to add it to his collection.
Meanwhile, Corey and the Old Man are presented with a 1919 alcohol delivery truck. The truck is unique in that it was one of the first vehicles designed specifically for delivering alcohol during the Prohibition era. However, the vehicle is in rough shape and needs a lot of work. Corey and the Old Man must decide if it's worth the investment to restore it back to its former glory.
Later in the episode, a customer walks in with an old wooden paddle thought to have been used by the KKK. The item is controversial and potentially offensive, and the team must navigate how to handle it appropriately. They bring in an expert to authenticate the item and provide insight into its history, as well as advice on how to proceed with selling it.
As always, the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop evaluate each item brought in by customers and attempt to strike a deal that benefits both parties. The customers range from average Joes to seasoned collectors, and each item presents unique challenges and opportunities. Whether they're buying and selling historical artifacts, rare books, or vintage vehicles, there's never a dull moment on Pawn Stars.
