Pastewka is a German television sitcom about a man named Bastian Pastewka, who plays a partially fictionalized version of himself. The show follows Bastian as he goes about his daily life and encounters various obstacles and challenges. In season 1 episode 2, titled "Der Personalausweis", Bastian runs into trouble when his personal identification card is stolen.

The episode begins with Bastian walking into his apartment building and noticing that his mailbox has been broken into. He quickly realizes that his personal identification card is missing, which causes him to panic. As a resident of Germany, the card serves as his official identification and is necessary for a variety of daily activities such as opening a bank account or renting a car.

Bastian immediately contacts the police and files a report. In the meantime, his friends and family provide little comfort, with each offering their own unhelpful advice. His girlfriend Svenja suggests that he simply apply for a new card, while his sister Hagen recommends that he hire a private investigator.

As the days pass, Bastian becomes increasingly frustrated and desperate to find his stolen card. He even goes so far as to print flyers and personally hand them out around the neighborhood in the hopes that someone will return it. His efforts are in vain, however, and he eventually resigns himself to the fact that he must endure the lengthy process of obtaining a new card.

The situation takes an interesting turn when Bastian receives a phone call from someone claiming to have found his lost card. The man on the other end of the line demands a reward for returning it, which Bastian reluctantly agrees to pay. He sets up a meeting in a public park, but becomes nervous at the prospect of being robbed or attacked.

Despite his friends' protests, Bastian decides to go to the meeting alone. It quickly becomes apparent that the man who claims to have his card is not the same person who stole it. Instead, he is a scammer looking to take advantage of Bastian's desperation. Bastian becomes embroiled in a heated argument with the man, which is eventually broken up by a passing police officer.

In the end, Bastian does not get his card back and is left with a feeling of frustration and hopelessness. He must now begin the tedious process of applying for a new identification card and dealing with all of the bureaucratic red tape that comes with it.

Overall, "Der Personalausweis" is an entertaining and relatable episode that highlights the difficulties and frustrations of dealing with lost or stolen personal identification. The show's humor and wit provide a lighthearted take on a serious issue, while also exploring some of the deeper emotions and anxieties that arise from such a situation.
