Pasión y poder TV Series is a Mexican telenovela airing on Televisa (TV Channel) Its English title is Passion and Power. The show was developed by Ximena Suarez and created by Marrisa Garrido and is just a refinement and rebranding of the Mexican telenovela Pasión y poder of 1988. It premiered in Mexico and the United States on October 5, 2015, and November 3, 2015. In the US, it aired on Univision (TV channel).

Pasión y poder series is based on a blend of dramas and corporate powers. The Show introduces to the viewers the story of two competing families in corporate power wars and also brings in drama effect. The strife existing between the two families dates back to many years ago. It was caused by two individual, Eladio Gomez Luna and Arturo Montenegro, who both loved the same girl, Julia Vallado. Julia finally got married to Eladio. Many years after, Julia Vallado has not been a happy woman. She undergoes constant abuse from her husband. Nonetheless, she still has to support Eladion Gomez Luna’s wickedness.

Her only solace from all these is David’s, her son, love. David is the complete opposite of his father character wise hence the joy and pride of his mother. The telenova has four main characters and twenty-two other characters of important roles.
