In the first episode of Party Down South season 1, entitled "Black Out," viewers are introduced to a group of eight young adults from various locations in the South who come together for a summer of fun and partying in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

As the night wears on, Lyle's behavior spirals out of control, leading to an explosive confrontation with Ryan, one of the other housemates. Tensions come to a head and the group is forced to face the fallout from their drunken escapades. As they try to pick up the pieces and move on, it becomes clear that their summer of partying is going to be filled with plenty of drama, fun, and surprises.
