In season 7 episode 3 of Parks & Recreation, titled "William Henry Harrison," the team is faced with a new challenge as they attempt to revamp the city's website. The episode begins with Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott) announcing that they will be leaving Pawnee because of Ben's new job in Washington, D.C. This news takes the parks department by surprise, causing a bit of chaos as they try to wrap their heads around the impending changes.
Meanwhile, the city's website is desperately in need of an update, and Leslie is determined to make it happen before she leaves. The problem is, the website was last updated in 1996, and no one knows how to use the old software. In an effort to modernize the site, Leslie brings in a young prodigy named April (Aubrey Plaza) to overhaul the website and make it more user-friendly.
As April gets to work on the website, she realizes that it's going to be a much bigger project than she originally thought. She enlists the help of an intern named William Henry Harrison (Johnathan Rice), who she quickly discovers is a bit odd. William Henry is a history buff and insists on being referred to by his full name, even though it's incredibly long. Despite his quirks, April decides to give him a chance and allows him to work on the website with her.
Back in the parks department, Ron (Nick Offerman) is struggling to come to terms with Leslie's departure. He and Leslie have always had a bit of a contentious relationship, but they've grown to understand and respect each other over the years. As they say their goodbyes, Ron reveals a softer side and reminds Leslie how much she means to him.
As the deadline for the website update approaches, April and William Henry realize they are in over their heads. They turn to Ben for help, who is reluctant at first to get involved, but ultimately comes through for his old colleagues. Together, they work on the website throughout the night, putting the finishing touches on just in time for the big reveal.
In the end, Leslie says her final goodbyes to the parks department, leaving behind a community that she helped build from the ground up. Though she's sad to leave, she's excited to start a new chapter in her life, and she knows that Pawnee will always be a part of her.
