Leslie Knope and the Parks and Recreation team are back for another hilarious season, and in episode 4, titled "Gin It Up!," they're pulling out all the stops. This episode revolves around Leslie's attempt to make a new type of alcoholic beverage legal in Pawnee, Indiana.
Leslie is always looking for ways to improve her community, and this time she's set her sights on Gin. Despite the fact that gin is illegal in Pawnee, Leslie is determined to make it legal so that her constituents can enjoy it responsibly. She soon discovers that the task will be a lot harder than she initially thought.
Meanwhile, Ron Swanson is enjoying a romantic night out with his girlfriend Diane and their kids. Things take a turn, however, when he runs into his ex-wife Tammy. The two get into a heated argument that ends with them deciding to settle their dispute in the only way they know how – a woodworking competition.
Back in the Parks department, Tom is dealing with his own problems. He's been having trouble keeping up with Ann's demands now that they're in a relationship. With Leslie preoccupied with the gin situation, Tom decides to seek out some advice from Andy, who's always been a ladies' man.
Elsewhere, Chris Traeger and Ben Wyatt are trying to find ways to increase business at the Pawnee video store. After several failed attempts, they decide to hire a celebrity spokesperson – Burt Macklin, FBI.
Throughout the episode, the Parks and Recreation team face their own unique challenges and come together to ensure that everything goes smoothly. With Leslie's determination, Ron's woodworking skills, Tom's relationship advice, Chris and Ben's business sense, and Andy's charm, there's nothing they can't accomplish.
