In season six, episode three of Parks & Recreation, titled "Doppelgangers," the Pawnee Parks and Recreation department is having a "Unity Concert," featuring some of the biggest names in the music industry. And as the big day draws closer, things begin to unravel.
One of the main plotlines in this episode centers around Ben (Adam Scott) and Leslie (Amy Poehler), who are trying to stay positive and be supportive of one another as they face individual challenges. In an effort to impress her with his wealth and success, he borrows a fancy sports car and pretends to be a successful entrepreneur. However, his plan backfires when Lucy sees through his facade and calls him out on his lies.
Meanwhile, April (Aubrey Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are dealing with their own relationship issues, as Andy is struggling to find a new career path after leaving his job as a shoe shiner. April, feeling frustrated with Andy's lack of motivation, decides to take matters into her own hands and help him find his calling.
Overall, "Doppelgangers" is a fun and lighthearted episode that offers plenty of laughs and character development. With its focus on relationships and personal struggles, it's a relatable and engaging installment in the Parks & Recreation series.
