In the season 4 episode 6 of Parks & Recreation, titled "End of the World," the residents of Pawnee are worried about the prediction of the world ending in 2012. The episode starts with Tom throwing an end-of-the-world party and Donna inviting a psychic, who predicts that the end of the world will take place at exactly 9 pm that night.

Leslie, on the other hand, is busy with her campaign to become a city councilwoman. She is trying her best to secure a big donation from a wealthy Pawnee resident, but the only way she can convince him is by attending his hunting trip. Leslie is not a fan of hunting, but she puts on a brave face and tries to impress the wealthy donor by acting like she is into it.

Meanwhile, Ron, April, and Andy are working on a project to build a time capsule to commemorate the life of Pawnee. They are having a hard time finalizing the contents of the capsule, and Ron believes that the best way to come up with ideas is by getting drunk.

As the predicted time of the end of the world draws closer, the residents of Pawnee start panicking. The power goes out, and everyone begins to act erratically. Tom and Donna decide to tie the knot on what could be their last day on earth, and they ask the rest of the gang to be their witnesses.

Leslie, still trying to impress the wealthy donor, offers to fix the power outage in his mansion. She then comes up with a plan to create a makeshift zoo in his backyard, complete with live animals and a working Ferris wheel.

Ron, April, and Andy are still working on their time capsule project when they realize that they do not have enough items to put in it. They decide to take a trip to Eagleton, Pawnee's rival town, to borrow some of their items.

The end of the world prediction turns out to be false, and everyone is relieved that they get to live to see another day. Tom and Donna, feeling grateful for their lives, decide not to go through with their impromptu wedding. Leslie, feeling embarrassed about her zoo plan, decides to leave the mansion in a hurry, but not before accidentally setting it on fire.

In conclusion, the "End of the World" episode of Parks & Recreation is a funny and lighthearted installment that deals with serious topics like the end of the world and wealth inequality. The episode is full of hilarious moments, like the makeshift zoo, Ron's drunken antics, and Tom and Donna's impulsive wedding.
