In Parks & Recreation season 3 episode 11 titled "Jerry's Painting," the Pawnee Parks Department decides to hold an art show featuring Jerry's painting, which he made at a senior center art class. The painting of a pastoral landscape is of low quality and garners criticism from everyone in the office, but Leslie convinces her colleagues to show the piece to Jerry and support his artistic expression.
Meanwhile, Tom is desperate to find a new business venture after losing his stake in the Snakehole Lounge. He pitches a new idea to Ron to turn an old video rental store into a champagne club, but Ron scoffs at the idea, reminding Tom that he has no experience or knowledge about the champagne industry.
Elsewhere, Ann discovers that Chris is dating other women, and although they're not officially together, she realizes that she still has feelings for him. Leslie encourages Ann to confront Chris, but Ann instead decides to move on and goes on a date with a new guy.
Back at the art show, Leslie and the rest of the Parks Department are surprised when Jerry's painting receives praise from a local art collector and is eventually sold for $5,000. Jerry is ecstatic and grateful for the support, and the group comes to realize that the painting may not have been the best, but it was a representation of Jerry's joy and passion.
In the end, Tom decides to give up on his champagne club idea and instead invest in his friend Jean-Ralphio's new business venture, Entertainment 720, a media conglomerate that specializes in creating viral videos and marketing stunts. The episode ends with the Parks Department celebrating Jerry's success and enjoying a night out at the Snakehole Lounge.
