Ep 3. The Molech

In season 4 episode 3 of Paranormal Witness, titled "The Molech," viewers are transported to the small town of Fayetteville, North Carolina. The episode focuses on a family who moves into an old house that has a dark past, unbeknownst to them. The father, Paul, is an Army veteran who has recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan and is experiencing PTSD. His wife, Maria, is a stay-at-home mom to their daughter, Abby.

As soon as they move in, strange things start happening. Abby begins talking to an imaginary friend and Paul starts hearing voices and seeing shadow figures. They soon discover that their house was once a church that was burned down in the 1940s, killing all of the children inside. The family begins to believe that the spirits of these children are haunting them and that they may even be demonic in nature.

The situation quickly escalates when Paul's PTSD causes him to become increasingly violent towards his family. Maria becomes convinced that there is something evil inside of him, something that is not just a result of his trauma. When they find a Molech statue hidden in their attic - a god that was worshipped by sacrificing children - they become convinced that it is the source of the evil in their house.

The family turns to a priest and a team of paranormal investigators for help. The team sets up cameras and other equipment to capture evidence of the supernatural activity. As they investigate, they encounter terrifying phenomena - doors slamming, objects moving, and unexplained noises - and they begin to realize that they may be dealing with something far more powerful than they anticipated.

As the investigation continues, the team uncovers an even darker history behind the town's past. They learn that the church was not burned down by accident, but instead by members of the Ku Klux Klan who were angry that African-American children were being allowed to attend. The team believes that the spirits of the murdered children are now seeking revenge on those who killed them and that the Molech statue is the key to stopping them.
