Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is an animated television show based on the popular video game character, Pac-Man. The show follows Pac-Man and his friends as they fight against the evil ghosts in their hometown of Pac-World. In season 1 episode 25, titled "The Spy Who Slimed Me", things take a surprising turn when a new character introduces himself.
The episode opens with Pac-Man and his friends, Cylindria and Spiral, wandering through Pac-World's scrap yard, looking for any interesting gadgets they can use against the ghosts. They stumble upon a strange piece of technology that they've never seen before - a miniaturizing ray gun. Just then, their friend Betrayus, the former evil ruler of the Netherworld, shows up and reveals that he's been working as a spy for Pac-World.
Betrayus explains that he was able to turn his life around and wants to make amends for his past actions. He informs Pac-Man and his friends that the ghosts have a new plan to take over Pac-World, and Betrayus needs their help to stop it. The plan involves the ghosts using the miniaturizing ray gun to shrink entire buildings and landmarks in Pac-World. The small size of the buildings will make it easier for the ghosts to take over.
Pac-Man and his friends agree to help Betrayus and devise a plan to stop the ghosts. They decide to infiltrate the ghost factory where the miniaturizing ray gun is being held. In order to get there, they'll need to use a special tunnel that only the ghosts are familiar with.
Betrayus leads the group through the tunnel, but they soon encounter a problem - the tunnel is filled with green slime. The slime is a defense mechanism created by the ghosts, and it's the only thing that can get through the tunnel without setting off the alarms. Betrayus tells Pac-Man and his friends that they'll need to coat themselves in the slime in order to get through undetected.
Reluctantly, Pac-Man and his friends slather themselves in the slime and make their way through the tunnel. When they reach the factory, they're able to successfully take down the ghosts and reclaim the miniaturizing ray gun. As they celebrate their victory, Betrayus reveals that he's actually been working as a double agent, pretending to be a spy for Pac-World while still secretly working for the ghosts.
As Pac-Man and his friends face betrayal from Betrayus, they must come up with a plan to stop the ghosts and save their world. Will they be able to take down the ghosts and prevent the miniaturizing ray gun from falling into the wrong hands? Find out in this thrilling episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.
