Michael Hanson decided to remodel the bedroom as a Valentine's present for his wife, but when he removed water-damaged carpeting he noticed the concrete slab below was a bit uneven. Since he didn't know how to fix the problem, he went ahead and installed laminate wood flooring. Unfortunately, the finished wooden floor bounced when anyone walked on it, which quickly became an annoyance.
