Ep 2. Roadblock Duty

In the second episode of the first season of Over There, titled Roadblock Duty, the squad of soldiers from the US Army's Third Infantry Division continue to deal with the stress and challenges of being deployed overseas in Iraq.

The episode opens with the team being tasked with manning a roadblock, searching vehicles and individuals for any potential threats. Over the course of their duty, the soldiers encounter a variety of different people, from local civilians to insurgents trying to sneak through the checkpoint. As tensions begin to rise, the team must work together to maintain order and ensure everyone's safety.

Despite these challenges, the squad manages to successfully complete their duty at the roadblock. By the end of the episode, we see the soldiers begin to form a stronger bond with one another, relying on each other for support and strength during their time in Iraq.

Through its realistic portrayal of life on the front lines of the Iraq War, Over There shines a light on the sacrifices made by American troops serving their country overseas. The show offers a sobering look at the physical, emotional, and mental toll of war, while also highlighting the resilience and bravery of those who have been called to serve their country.
