Ep 2. Rhone Cruising in France

Outta Town Adventures is an exciting travel show that explores different parts of the world and showcases adventures that are out of the ordinary. In season 3, the second episode is titled Rhone Cruising in France.

In Tain-l'Hermitage, they visit a local chocolate factory and taste some of the finest French chocolate. In Avignon, they visit the famous Palais des Papes, a papal palace that was built in the 14th century and served as the residence of various popes. They also explore the town's narrow streets, ancient buildings and the famous Avignon Bridge which is known for its rich history and heartwarming songs.

Further up the river, the group disembarks in Arles, a town that is famous for its connection to Vincent van Gogh, who lived and worked here for a brief time. Alex and his team visit the van Gogh Foundation, which houses a collection of the artist's works and also visit the Roman Amphitheater, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is still used today for bullfighting.

As the river cruise comes to an end, the group makes a final stop in the small town of Viviers, where they visit a local winery and learn about the winemaking process. They also explore the town's narrow streets, ancient buildings and admire a unique painting on a wall of a building which is one of its kind.

Throughout the episode, Alex and his group enjoy the stunning scenery of the Rhone River, which includes rolling hills, vineyards, and charming villages. They also get to experience the unique culture of the region, including its food, wine, and art.
