Ep 1. England and Scotland

Outta Town Adventures season 2 episode 1 takes us on a journey through the stunning landscapes of England and Scotland. Our adventurous host, Jack, leads us through winding roads, to historic cities and over rugged mountains as he showcases the beauty and rich history of this part of the world.

Beginning in England, Jack takes us to the city of Bath, famous for its Roman baths and regal Georgian architecture. Here we witness the fusion of ancient history and contemporary culture as we explore the city streets and indulge in the delicious local cuisine.

From Bath, we venture to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, a quintessential English countryside famous for its thatched cottages and quaint villages. We walk through vast fields of green, observing farm life and taking in the breathtaking views.

As we cross the border into Scotland, our journey continues into the capital city, Edinburgh. Jack takes us on a guided tour through the cobbled streets of the old town, sharing his knowledge about the city's rich history and culture. We visit the famous Edinburgh Castle, perched high on a rocky outcrop, and the Royal Mile, lined with shops selling traditional Scottish attire and souvenirs.

Moving further north into the Scottish Highlands, Jack showcases the rugged beauty of the landscape. We travel through remote villages and sleepy towns, marveling at the scale of the terrain and the natural beauty surrounding us. The highlight of the journey is a visit to Loch Ness, where we learn about its mysterious history and search for the mythical creature believed to be lurking beneath the murky waters.

As the sun sets on our Scottish adventure, we take a trip to the Isle of Skye, known for its rugged coastline, towering cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. Here we experience the thrill of hiking to the top of the Old Man of Storr, one of the island's most iconic landmarks, and watching the sun dip below the horizon as we take in the breathtaking views.
