Ep 3. Party of Five

In Outsourced season 1 episode 3, titled "Party of Five," Todd (played by Ben Rappaport) and his team at the Mumbai-based call center are tasked with planning a last minute party for their new client, a company that sells novelty items called Party People. However, Todd's first attempt at throwing a party falls flat as he struggles to understand the cultural differences between India and America.

Meanwhile, Gupta (played by Parvesh Cheena) takes charge of the decorations, but his flamboyant designs clash with the conservative values of some of the Indian employees. And as Todd tries to salvage the party, he must also deal with a growing attraction to Asha (played by Rebecca Hazlewood), a co-worker who is equally confused by their cultural differences.

As the night wears on, the Party People executives become increasingly frustrated with the lackluster celebration, threatening to pull their account from the call center.
