As the second season of Outsiders kicks off, tensions are running high within the Farrell clan. The family, who live on a remote mountaintop in the heart of Appalachia, have always been fiercely independent and protective of their land and way of life. However, as outsiders continue to encroach upon their territory, the Farrells find themselves facing new threats from both the government and their neighbors.

In the premiere episode, "And The Three Shall Save You," we see the Farrells struggling to maintain their way of life in the face of mounting challenges. Led by the stoic and charismatic Asa Farrell (played by Joe Anderson), the family must navigate a complex web of alliances and rivalries if they hope to survive.

One of the key conflicts in this episode revolves around the arrival of a group of outsiders who have come searching for a missing person. Led by a determined lawman named Wade Houghton (Thomas M. Wright), the team includes a medic named Kyle (Ned Dennehy) and a young woman named Haylie (Francie Swift).

As the episode unfolds, we see that the missing person in question is none other than Asa's girlfriend Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson). In the previous season, Sally-Ann had been banished from the Farrells for betraying their secrets to the outside world. However, she had later returned to the mountain in search of Asa, only to disappear without a trace.

Despite their animosity towards outsiders, Asa and the other Farrells agree to help Houghton and his team search for Sally-Ann. The lines between friend and foe become increasingly blurred as the group encounters various obstacles and dangers along the way.

At the same time, a power struggle is brewing within the Farrell clan itself. Asa's uncle, the fierce and enigmatic Big Foster (David Morse), is still seething over his defeat at the hands of his nephew in the previous season. He begins to plot his revenge, enlisting the help of his loyal followers and stirring up dissent among the other Farrells.

Meanwhile, Asa must deal with his own personal demons as he grapples with the fallout from Sally-Ann's disappearance. He is haunted by memories of his troubled past, including his time spent in prison and his relationship with his estranged father.

Throughout the episode, we see the Farrells engaging in their traditional practices, such as hunting, fishing, and makeshift surgeries. We also get glimpses into their unique culture and mythology, including their reverence for the natural world and their belief in a powerful spiritual force known as the "petrochemical god."

As the title of the episode suggests, there is a strong sense of fate and destiny at play here. Asa and his allies begin to realize that they are part of a larger cosmic struggle, in which the fate of their entire way of life hangs in the balance.

With its stunning cinematography, powerful performances, and gripping plotlines, Outsiders season 2 episode 1 is a strong start to this highly anticipated series. Fans of the show will undoubtedly be hooked from the first scene, while newcomers will find plenty to enjoy in this thrilling and atmospheric drama.
