After a hectic day of managing six children under the age of six, Danielle and Adam Busby make a decision to let the little quint, Hazel, stay home alone with them while their other daughter, Blayke, goes to her first day of Kindergarten.
The couple struggles to make it to the bus on time and get Blayke settled in, but they are determined to make it back home to Hazel before she wakes up from her nap. Upon arriving home, they discover that Hazel has already woken up and is having a meltdown.
Danielle and Adam decide to turn the day into a special one-on-one bonding time with Hazel, taking her on a walk and spending quality time with her. Meanwhile, the other quints are at daycare causing chaos and making noise.
As the day progresses, Danielle and Adam start to worry about the chaos and struggle to maintain their calm as Adam has to leave for work and Danielle has to manage all six children alone.
Despite the challenges, Danielle and Adam make the best of the situation, teaching Hazel how to play with Play-Doh, have a tea party, and even join in on a dance party.
As the day comes to a close, the couple reflects on the challenges they faced and the bond they formed with Hazel. They are grateful for the opportunity to have a one-on-one day with their little quint and are hopeful for more moments like this in the future.
