In Our Cartoon President season 2 episode 9, titled "Save the Right", cartoon President Trump is dealing with a lot of pressure from his advisors and the media. The episode opens with him addressing his staff in the Oval Office, where he expresses frustration with how he is being portrayed in the press. His advisors suggest that he take action to counter the negative coverage, and he decides to go on a media tour to try to set the record straight.
As the President travels from one interview to another, he encounters a variety of challenges and obstacles. He struggles to articulate coherent answers to questions about his policies and his administration's actions, and his answers often devolve into evasive and nonsensical rambling. However, he is determined to stay on message and present himself as a strong and capable leader.
Meanwhile, the First Lady is dealing with her own problems. She has become increasingly frustrated with her role as a public figure and the constant scrutiny she faces from the media. She decides to take matters into her own hands and use her platform to promote a cause she cares about - gun control. She enlists the help of one of her husband's advisors to help her plan a public event to raise awareness about the issue.
As the day wears on, the President's tour takes a turn for the worse. He is confronted by angry protesters at one stop, and he struggles to maintain his composure. Later, he is ambushed by a group of reporters who challenge him on his statements and his record. As the pressure mounts, he becomes increasingly belligerent and hostile.
Meanwhile, the First Lady's event is a resounding success, and she is widely praised for her efforts. However, her success only serves to highlight the President's failures, and he becomes even more determined to prove himself. As the episode comes to a close, we are left wondering if he will ever be able to save his reputation and salvage his presidency.
