Oscar tries several clever tactics to get to the blueberries, including pretending to be a meerkat and disguising himself as a rock. In the end, Oscar devises the perfect plan to get the blueberries and enjoys a delicious feast.

Finally, in "Meerkat Blues," the meerkats are shown lamenting the loss of their blueberries. They start to sing a sad song, attracting the attention of Oscar, who decides to create a band with the meerkats. They begin jamming together, each member playing a different instrument. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when the meerkats start fighting over who gets to play the guitar solo. In the end, their music falls apart, and the meerkats are left feeling down once again.
