Piper Chapman is back in Litchfield Penitentiary, and almost everything seems to have changed. In the previous season, she was finally released from prison, but her life on the outside is not going as planned, and she finds herself back behind bars. In the second episode of season 6, titled Sh*tstorm Coming, we get a glimpse of the chaos and tension that is brewing in the prison.
As the episode begins, we see that the inmates are dealing with the aftermath of a riot that took place in the previous season. The prison is severely understaffed, and the situation is starting to escalate. Tensions are high, and it's clear that things are about to get ugly.
Meanwhile, Piper is trying her best to adjust to life in prison once again. She has a new cellmate named Madison, who seems to be rubbing her the wrong way. Madison is loud, obnoxious, and generally unpleasant to be around. Piper is trying her best to keep her distance, but it's not easy when they share such a small space.
One of the most significant changes in the prison is the arrival of a new warden. Tamika Ward has been brought in to clean up the mess that was left behind after the riot, but her methods are quickly causing problems for the inmates. She's strict, uncompromising, and seems to have little empathy for those she's in charge of.
As the day wears on, tensions continue to rise in the prison. The inmates are frustrated with the new warden, and many of them are starting to lose hope that things will ever improve. There's a sense of despair that hangs over Litchfield, and it's clear that something is going to give soon.
The episode takes a dark turn when we see some of the inmates plotting a revenge scheme against some of the guards. They're angry about the way they've been treated, and they're determined to make a statement. It's clear that if they go through with their plan, things are going to get ugly fast.
In the midst of all the chaos and tension, there are some glimmers of hope. We see some of the inmates banding together to try and make the best of a bad situation. There are moments of camaraderie and solidarity, and it's clear that many of them are determined to make it through this difficult time together.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with tensions at an all-time high and no clear resolution in sight. It's clear that a sh*tstorm is indeed coming, and it's unclear who will come out on top. One thing is for sure; the next few episodes are sure to be intense and unpredictable.
Overall, Sh*tstorm Coming is an intense and gripping episode that sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting season of Orange is the New Black. The writers do an excellent job of building tension and suspense throughout the episode, and the performances are all top-notch. If you're a fan of the show, you won't want to miss this one.
