In the sixth episode of season five of Orange Is the New Black, titled "Flaming Hot Cheetos, Literally," tensions rise in Litchfield Penitentiary as the inmates continue their riot. Daya struggles with the decision of whether or not to use the gun she obtained in the previous episode, and some of the other inmates try to convince her to give it up.
Meanwhile, Taystee and Black Cindy take a trip to the commissary in an attempt to secure some Flaming Hot Cheetos, which they believe will help improve their mood. However, the store is trashed and they must find a creative way to get what they want.
Suzanne and Maureen continue their "love affair," but things start to go wrong when Maureen develops a cough.
The episode also sees the return of former guard Bennett, who is trying to make amends for his past actions. He reconnects with Daya's mother Aleida and makes an effort to help her out.
As tensions continue to escalate, the inmates must make difficult decisions and alliances in order to survive the chaos of the riot. "Flaming Hot Cheetos, Literally" is a tense and emotional episode that highlights the complex relationships and power struggles within the prison.
