Orange County Choppers follows Paul Teutul Sr. and his crew from the original concept through the final construction of original motorcycle models. In addition to seeing the construction of some incredible motorcycles come to fruition, the show also highlights the constant drama of the Teutul clan as well as the friction that erupts with the others involved in making these great machines a reality.

Many of the motorcycles begin with a specific theme in mind. As work begins, this theme can go in several ways. The show follows how these creative minds work out what direction they will take the initial idea and takes the viewer through the steps of building a moving work of art.

On Orange County Choppers you get the opportunity to see how a specialized motorcycle goes from just a thought, to a concept on paper, all the way through being a completed project. In addition to watching the process of the motorcycle come together, there is the drama of the different ideas and personalities going on in the background. Many times as these bikes are coming together, the team starts to come apart.

OCC creates a trike for Ardbeg, a Scottish whiskey company. Now that Evan is no longer the creative director at OCC, he is able to step up his game as a strong fabricator without carrying the pressure of the usual burden of a build.

Fill-a-Need, an autism awareness program, wants OCC to build them a chopper. Evan is left in charge as Rick is out of town and Paul Senior tries to override his authority.

Goody's Popcorn wants to raffle off a chopper to raise money to send popcorn to military troops. Evan helps Jason with the design, but they are skeptical of Evan's skills when he wants to fabricate a glass sided gas tank using an old-school method. Then, Evan deals with the client directly, which is against the OCC rules. Evan is put on probation which forces him to focus on learning how Orange County Choppers operates.
