Albert, Del Boy, and Rodney are back in Peckham after their disastrous trip to Miami. Del comes up with a bright idea to sort out their financial woes and make their money back by organizing a Yuletide Jolly Boys' Outing to France. With the prospect of a fun-filled adventure, the Trotters set off on their journey to the French coast.
Meanwhile, back at Nelson Mandela House, Trigger has acquired a job lot of highly flammable Christmas trees. Del sees an opportunity to make a profit and offers to buy them, promising to shift them all before Christmas. However, things take a turn for the worse when Del gets a visit from the health and safety inspector, who condemns them for being fire hazards.
Undeterred by this setback, Del and Rodney continue with their plans for the Jolly Boys' Outing. They organize a coach trip to France, complete with entertainment and passport checks. However, upon arrival at the White Cliffs of Dover, they discover that their coach has been stolen by a group of bikers.
Desperate not to disappoint the Jolly Boys, Del and Rodney frantically search for an alternative mode of transport to get them across the channel. They find an old, dilapidated tour bus owned by local entrepreneur Mickey Pearce. Despite its questionable condition, they decide to take their chances and purchase it for the outing.
With the Jolly Boys finally en route to France, the journey proves to be far from smooth sailing. The bus breaks down countless times, leaving the Trotters stranded in the middle of nowhere. As time ticks away and frustrations rise, Del takes charge and tries to keep spirits high, determined to salvage their adventure.
When they finally reach their destination, the group makes the most of their time in France, enjoying the scenic views, local cuisine, and even a game of volleyball on the beach. However, with an impending storm on the horizon, the Trotters realize they need to cut their trip short and find a way back home.
As they head back to England, the storm worsens, and the bus is once again brought to a halt. Stuck in the middle of the French countryside, the Trotters face a race against time to make it back before Christmas Day.
Back in Peckham, the Nag's Head is packed with locals eagerly awaiting Del and Rodney's return. With the clock ticking, the Trotters arrive just in time, bringing the Christmas spirit with them. The episode culminates in a heartwarming scene, as the Trotters join their friends in celebrating Christmas and reflect on their eventful journey.
